In 2024, we successfully completed a comprehensive bathroom refurbishment at Woollahra Public School.
The project involved works across multiple areas of the school, including Block B and Block D, with extensive upgrades to both facilities and infrastructure.
Key works completed:
Demolition
• Isolation and disconnection of electrical services
• Removal and disposal of existing fixtures, fittings, and plumbing, including lights, ceiling linings, basins, toilets, and partitions
• Removal of wall and floor tiles, windows, gates, and redundant wiring
Tiling
• Preparation of walls and floors for new tiling
• Waterproofing of walls and floors to current Australian standards
• Installation of high-quality tiles, including stainless-steel edge finishes and non-slip floor tiles
• Use of epoxy grout for long-lasting moisture resistance
Electrical Work
• Configuration of electrical supply to suit new services
• Installation of new LED lights and auto-sensor lighting
• Installation of electric hand dryers and exhaust fans
• Replacement of existing power outlets (GPOs)
Hydraulic Work
• Installation of new wash troughs and time flow push taps
• Installation of new toilet and urinal fixtures, including anti-vandal features
• Integration of rainwater harvesting system for toilet flushing, certified by a qualified installer
Bathroom Accessories
• Supply and installation of mirrors, soap dispensers, and toilet roll holders
• Installation of high-quality stainless-steel accessories in line with EFSG requirements
Ceilings, Doors, Windows, and Signage
• New ceiling structure and installation of Aquachek gyprock sheeting
• Replacement of doors and windows to meet EFSG standards
• Installation of new signage as per school requirements
This project was delivered to the highest standards, ensuring both functionality and compliance with all relevant regulations, providing students and staff with improved, modern bathroom facilities.
